Part
Un
John Wilson, Owner and President, ICS Gaming
The first of this three-part course will teach the basics of today’s
slot machines. These sessions prove not only that slot math can be fun,
but will also help you gain an understanding of slot machines—a real
understanding that you will be able to use in your day-to-day job. The
basic terms found on a PAR sheet and the beginning of the development of
a slot machine will be covered. These sessions have received rave
reviews at previous CasinoFest™ conferences, so be sure to mark your
schedule!
3:00 p.m. to
3:50 p.m.
The Slot
Machine Trilogy:
Part
Deux
John Wilson, Owner and President, ICS Gaming
Continuing from Part
Un, this course will develop an actual three-reel slot
machine. Using VC Slots®,
a proprietary software for development and simulation, the game can
actually be played. A full PAR sheet will be generated and used to
illustrate the terms and values of the game. This unique method of slot
training ensures that you maximize your learning by using your own ideas
and game theme.
4:00 p.m. to
4:50 p.m.
The Slot
Machine Trilogy:
Part
Trois
John Wilson, Owner and President, ICS Gaming
Working with the game developed in the second part of this trilogy,
this course will begin to study volatility index and variances. The
class’s game will demonstrate when, why and how variances develop in a
slot game, and more importantly, whether those variances are normal.
Today’s slot machines are more complicated than ever, making your job
more difficult, but these courses will help make it easier.
